Welcome to the NAST web site.

NAST, founded in 1965, is an organization of schools, conservatories, colleges and universities. It has approximately 170 accredited institutional members. It establishes national standards for undergraduate and graduate degrees and other credentials.

Institutional Membership is gained only through the peer review process of accreditation. Individual Membership is available by application.

NAST provides information to potential students and parents, consultations, statistical information, professional development; and policy analysis.

NAST has an extensive publications program.

This web site is intended to provide general assistance regarding the operation of NAST including the accreditation process. Requests for further information may be directed to the National Office staff. NAST accepts no responsibility for the content of any information or web site attached to this site.

REMINDER
NAST Annual Meeting

Representatives planning to attend the NAST Annual Meeting are encouraged to register for the meeting and make hotel reservations as soon as possible. Online registration must be completed before 5:00 p.m. EST on March 1. Hotel reservations also must be secured no later than March 1. Click here for details.

2012 ANNUAL MEETING
Information and Registration

A comprehensive guide to the NAST 2012 Annual Meeting and online/advance registration are available.

Hotel reservations must be made directly with the Westin Cincinnati Hotel.

PRE-MEETING WORKSHOP

Attendance at the optional Pre-Meeting Workshop requires separate advance registration and payment of an additional fee of $150.
