Optional Webinar: NAST Annual Reporting Requirements

May 2019

Accredited institutional members of NAST are required to submit annual reports as outlined in the NAST Rules of Practice and Procedure (NAST Handbook 2017-18, Rules of Practice and Procedure, Part II, Article III.).

Information regarding 2019-2020 reporting requirements specifically pertaining to the Accreditation Audit (NAST Handbook 2019-20, Rules of Practice and Procedure, Part II, Article III, Section 1.B.) and the Affirmation Statement (NAST Handbook 2019-20, Rules of Practice and Procedure, Part II, Article III, Section 1.C.) will be forwarded to the primary institutional representatives of accredited member institutions electronically on June 3, 2019. Institutional replies must be returned to the NAST National Office no later than July 1, 2019.

To assist representatives of member institutions assigned with the responsibility to review and complete these required submissions, NAST will offer an informative webinar. Should you wish to participate in the webinar, please note the information offered below. Please note that preregistration is required.

Date and Time

The webinar will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (EDT).

Focus

Following a brief overview of NAST annual reporting requirements, staff will offer step-by-step instructions pertaining to both the Accreditation Audit and Affirmation Statement. As time permits, general questions posed during the webinar will be addressed. However, it is recommended that participants with specific questions regarding their own institutions contact NAST staff after the webinar.

Registrants are encouraged to review the NAST Handbook 2019-20, Rules of Practice and Procedure, Part II, Article III., Section 1.B. and C., and to have in hand the institution’s Accreditation Audit and Affirmation Statement, which will be sent to the primary institutional representative via email on June 3.

Registration

Participants are encouraged to register for the webinar at the earliest possible time. Registrants are asked to check system requirements in advance to ensure system compatibility with the webinar platform. System requirements will be provided in the registration confirmation and reminder email mailings.

Please Note: Each participant should register separately as the webinar system will provide individualized links, which will enable access to the webinar platform. Names and affiliations of registrants will not be shared with other participants. A confirmation email following registration will be sent to the email address used during registration process from the webinar system directly. Multiple representatives from institutions are welcome. A reminder email will be sent the day of the webinar.
