Michael Grenham

Michael Grenham has served as the Conservatory Director and Executive Manager of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting since 2007. He also serves on the faculty as an instructor of Voice and Speech and The Business of Acting.

As an actor, his professional stage credits include Charlie in The Whale, Morty in Awake and Sing, Andrey in The Three Sisters, Rodrigo in Othello, Larry in Closer, Michael in Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me, Sylvius in As You Like It, Judge/Caiphas in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Shamrayev in The Seagull, Original Ensemble in Len Jenkin’s Margo Veil, and originator of the title role in Gerald Stern’s Father Guzman. Mr. Grenham’s directing credits include August: Osage County, The Three Sisters, Our Lady of 121stStreet, Neil Simon’s Rumors, The Crucible, Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, Some Girl(s), Cloud 9, Independence, Peer Gynt, Short Eyes, The Dining Room, Macbeth, As You Like It, The Cherry Orchard, The Seagull, In the Boom Boom Room, The Big Funk, Self-Torture and Strenuous Exercise, Escape From Happiness, and A Bright Room Called Day.

Mr. Grenham has served NAST as a member of the Board of Directors since 2017.

Mr. Grenham is an alumnus of the professional training program at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
